A “Notice of Issuance of Securities” for Blimp Productions, The Turtles production company, signed twice by the five members of the band.

This corporate document dealt with the issuance of shares of stock in The Turtles company, and is signed twice by the band, first as the “Proposed Issuees” and second by them sa the “Officers and Board of Directors of the Issuer”.  Dated October 27, 1969, the band members signing are Mark Volman (secretary), Howard Kaylan (1st VP), Al Nichol (president, signing with legal name G. Allen Nichol), Jim Pons and John Seiter (treasurer).  Attached is a certificate from a Notary Public certifying the band’s signatures.

This was signed the month of the release of the group’s album Turtle Soup, produced by Ray Davies of The Kinks–the first time he produced another artist’s record.
