Van Der Graaf Generator – “The Aerosol Grey Machine” US 1st Pressing With Rare Track “Giant Squid”

A very rare Near Mint–/Mint to Near Mint US first pressing of the 1969 debut album by Van Der Graaf Generator, The Aerosol Grey Machine, with the rare and mistakenly pressed track “Giant Squid” in place of “Necromancer” (which is listed on the cover and label, but does not appear on the album. )

Aerosol Grey Machine was only issued originally in the US, and the only the earliest pressings have ‘Giant Squid’ (these have “M2″ in the Side 2 Matrix).  The Near Mint–cover has almost fully intact shrink wrap, with some light spine wear, two rubbed corners, and a 1/2” bit of the top left edge where the slick has chipped off the spine–all minor distractions.  There is also a tiny cut out hole in the top right corner.  The disc is Mint to Near Mint.  An exceptional and exceptionally rare progressive rock album.
