From the collection of Velvet Underground guitarist Sterling Morrison, a 33′ x 23 ½’ concert poster for the Velvets’ June 11, 1993 show at the Hamburg Sporthalle. This beautiful poster features Andy Warhol’s Banana artwork printed on a background of metallic silver ink, and is in near mint condition, with some light ink overprint on the reverse (invisible from the front.) Morrison was the Velvets’ archivist, and this comes from his personal collection. We obtained this from Morrison’s widow, Martha Morrison; her letter of provenance is included.
