An archive of 5 original black and white 8" x 10" photographs of the Velvet Underground, published in the definitive Velvet's book, "Uptight" by Victor Bockris & Gerard Malanga. These are the actual prints used for reproduction in the book, and range from an original photos of the original Angus MacLise/Lou Reed/Sterling Morrison/John Cale lineup, to classic live photos of the band with Doug Yule and Lou Reed at the end of Lou's tenure. Some of these have minor notes on the reverse noting their page number in the book. All are in excellent to near mint condition. Very rare !
