Velvet Underground – Andy Warhol – ASPEN/FAB Essays Folder

From the Andy Warhol/David Dalton designed “FAB” issue of Aspen Magazine (actually a box with various items from 1966) we have here the “Music Man, That’s Where It’s At–Rock and Roll—Three Views’ folder containing three 4-page essays on the music scene by Lou Reed (“The View From The Bandstand” where he opines on the current music scene,) Bob Dylan biographer Robert Shelton (The View From The Critic’s Desk), and Bob Chamberlain (The View From The Dance Floor,) illustrated with reprints of Beatles/Velvets/Dylan/James Brown handbills, and a flyer advertising clothing store Paraphernalia. This is the complete contents of the folder, which as you can see from the photos, also features quotes from Lou Reed printed on the inside. Everything is in beautiful condition, and as the entire box sells for $1200 (we’ve got one of those too,) this is a quite reasonable way to get a great Velvet Underground collectible.
