Velvet Underground – Boston Tea Party 1967 Pink Handbill

A very rare Velvet Underground handbill advertising the band’s two day engagement at the Boston Tea Party in August, 1967. At this shows band “manager” Andy Warhol shot an “underground movie” featuring the Velvet’s performance, The Velvet Underground in Boston.

This is a very scarce Velvet Underground handbill, and comes from the legendary archive of the late Velvet Underground guitarist Sterling Morrison, who’s archive stamp and handwritten inventory number on the reverse (very slightly visible on the front.)  Our letter of authenticity will note the provenance of this rare handbill. In near mint condition, 8 1/2″ x 11″.

The Velvet Underground In Boston film features the songs: I’m Waiting For The Man/Guess I’m Falling In Love/Run Run Run/Heroin/Walk & Talk (?)/I Heard Her Call My Name/Venus In Furs/Sister Ray.
