From the collection of Velvet Underground guitarist Sterling Morrison, a huge 66′ x 23 ½’ concert poster for the Velvets’ June 1993 dates at the Hamburg Sporthalle and Berlin Die Halle. As this poster is so large, it was printed in two separate pieces, which meet in the middle. This stunning poster features Andy Warhol’s Banana artwork, and is in near mint condition, with a tiny, archivally repaired corner tear. Morrison was the Velvets’ archivist, and this comes from his personal collection. We obtained this from Morrison’s widow, Martha Morrison; her letter of provenance is included.
