A hand tooled leather belt owned by Velvet Underground guitarist Sterling Morrison, and worn during his time with the group.  This was hand made by the same person who made his custom leather guitar strap, pictured here, which we sold previously.

We acquired this from Sterling Morrison’s widow Martha; it comes with her signed letter of authenticity, as well as Recordmecca’s written lifetime guarantee of authenticity.

The belt is well worn, and though not immediately apparent, there is a hand stamped pattern of a circle with a cross inside down the middle of the entire belt.

43 1/2” from end to end, in worn but still very usable condition.
