The original photograph used on the cover of Willie Dixon’s 1988 Grammy-Winning album Hidden Charms.

This exact 16″ x 20″ print of photographer Marc Norberg’s portrait of Dixon was used by Capitol Records to produce the Hidden Charms album cover.  We obtained it directly from Capitol art director Tommy Steele, who oversaw the cover’s creation.  The back of the print has Norberg’s credit stamp, a sticker with copyright information, and Tommy Steele’s handwritten note “Original album cover photograph for Hidden Charms“.  Hidden Charms won the 1988 Grammy Award for “Best Traditional Blues Album”.
