Woodstock Festival – 1969 Handbill / Ticket Order Form (Jimi Hendrix, The Who, Grateful Dead, Janis Joplin, CSN, etc._
An original handbill/ticket order form booklet for the 1969 Woodstock Music Festival, aka An Aquarian Exposition: 3 Days of Peace and Music, held in White Lake, Bethel, New York. The festival, of course, included performances by Jimi Hendrix, The Who, the Grateful Dead, Janis Joplin, Sly & The Family Stone, Canned Heat, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Santana, The Band, the Jeff Beck Group, Blood Sweat & Tears, Joe Cocker, Crosby Stills & Nash, Ten Years After, Johnny Winter and more.
This mint condition original handbill measures 4″ x 8 1/2″ closed, and opens to 8″ x 8 1/2″. The front lists all the bands appearing, the back directions to the festival, and inside all the non-music offerings, and a ticket order form. Single day tickets were $7, tickets to two days $13, and a three day ticket $18. This is the cleanest example of this rarity we’ve seen.
