Bob Dylan – 1966 Danish Concert Poster/Record Store Promo Piece
A very rare Danish poster/display piece advertising Bob Dylan's May 1, 1966 concert at Copenhagen's K-Hallen, and his record catalog. This display piece was sent by CBS Records/Denmark to retailers, with the suggestion they display it in their windows to promote Dylan's upcoming concert and available records, including his newest album, Highway 61 Revisited. The fold-open display piece reads on the front, in Danish, "May 1, it will be unloaded in the KB Hall in Copenhagen. And we hardly need to add that this modern troubadour protest song-creator and the ever-inspiring "rock-folk" music will be the great conversation and newspaper topic in the days of the visit. (Please use the insides as a poster in your window!)" Printed on card stock; in excellent condition. Closed: 8 1/2" x 12"; opened 8 1/2" x 24". The only example we've seen of this rarity.
