A one-sheet movie poster for the re-release of David Bowie’s concert film David Bowie and the Spiders From Mars, signed in black marker by David Bowie.

While this 2002 re-release was promoted as ‘Newly Restored For Its 30th Anniversary’, the film by D.A. Pennebaker was actually shot at the July 3, 1973 final Spiders concert, and the film was first shown at the Edinburgh Film Festival on 31 August 1979 (not the first time accuracy was sacrificed for a good marketing hook.)

The signature has been authenticated by music autograph expert Roger Epperson, whose certificate of authenticity is included, as is Recordmecca’s written lifetime guarantee of authenticity.

26 3/4″ x 39″, in Near Mint condition, rolled, with some  nicks to the edges.  Displays beautifully.
