KPPC was one of the top Los Angeles-area underground radio stations in the 1960s, and in addition to producing this poster they made promotional posters featuring Cream and Big Brother and the Holding Company with Janis Joplin.

The official Jimi Hendrix twitter feed noted ‘On September 12, 1968 The Jimi Hendrix Experience made an appearance at local radio station KMET (sister station to KPPC) to promote their September 14th appearance at the Hollywood Bowl.’

22 1/2″ x 28 1/2″.  In Very Good+ to Near Excellent condition, with staple holes in the four corners, minor creasing, and one archivally closed 1/2″ edge tear.  Rolled.
