Otis Spann & Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac – UK 1st Press ‘Biggest Thing Since Colossus’ LP / Blue Horizon

A clean UK first pressing of Otis Spann’s 1969 album with Fleetwood Mac The Biggest Thing Since Colossus, on Blue Horizon records.

Wikipedia notes ‘Spann had been involved [with Fleetwood Mac’s] recording of the Blues Jam at Chess album, and a rapport had been struck between Spann and the British band, which led to their participation on Spann’s new album…Spann’s friend and longtime associate S.P. Leary played drums on the album, and Fleetwood Mac drummer Mick Fleetwood did not take part in the recording, [however] guitarists Peter Green and Danny Kirwan and bassist John McVie all play throughout.’

A superb blues album with Fleetwood Mac very much evident.  Cover NM-, Disc Ex.
