Pink Floyd – Rick Wright & Wife’s tickets to Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Dinner, with Program, CD / Also David Bowie, Velvet Underground, Jefferson Airplane, Etc.

Rick Wright of Pink Floyd and his wife Millie’s tickets to the eleventh annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s induction dinner, held at New York’s Waldorf Astoria hotel on January 17, 1987.  Than evening Pink Floyd were inducted into the Rock Hall, alongside fellow artists David Bowie, the Velvet Underground, Jefferson Airplane, Little Willie John, Gladys Knight & The Pips, The Shirelles, Pete Seeger and legendary disc jockey Tom Donahue.  Pink Floyd performed that night with Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins, who had earlier inducted the band.

An attendee and collector ‘rescued’ these after the show.  Also included in this lot is a mint condition program and a sealed CD with tracks from each of the inducted artists given away only at the dinner (we don’t know if these belonged to Wright, but they came from the same estate.)

The program measures 8 1/2″ x 12″ and the tickets 3 1/2″ x 5″; all are in mint condition.  With an ‘Addenda’ sheet inserted into the program.
