A gigantic Paris Metro subway poster advertising the 2013 Paris museum exhibition Eur0-Punk: Une Revolution Artistique 1976-1980 (An Artistic Revolution), held at the Cite de la Musique. Measuring more than 5 1/2′ tall, the poster feature Jamie Reid’s iconic artwork created for the Sex Pistols ‘God Save The Queen’ single. During the show’s run, these posters were visible inside Paris’s metro stations.
This groundbreaking Punk exhibition included more than 450 artifacts (clothing, fanzines, posters, leaflets, drawings and collages, record covers, films, etc.), and numerous audio and video recordings, testify to this vitality and creative freedom that have made punk, despite itself, a real artistic revolution.
46″ x 67.25″, in excellent unused condition, with some minor scuffing to the top left edge, and light edge creasing, mostly at the top and bottom.
This is spectacular in person and will frame beautifully.
