The Beatles – 1964 Stereo 1st Press ‘Meet the Beatles!’ LP / Near Mint
A beautiful Near Mint-/Mint to Near Mint February 1964 stereo pressing of Meet The Beatles, on Capitol Records.
The #3 cover is the earliest version, with brown ‘Beatles!’ on the front cover, and without the George Martin credit on the back. The disc looks unplayed, with no spindle marks. There are a number of label variations on these first pressings, this is the one with BMI publishing credits on ‘I Want to Hold Your Hand,’ ‘I Saw Her Standing There,’ and ‘I Wanna Be Your Man.’
A very clean example of an essential 60s album.
