The Doors – Four 1967 Family Dog Concert Handbills/Postcards
Four very clean Family Dog handbills/postcards advertising 1967 concerts by The Doors.
These are number FD 50, 61, 64 and 84 in the Family Dog series. The first three are for shows at San Francisco’s Avalon Ballroom, and feature artwork by the great Victor Moscoso. FD 84 is for a show with Captain Beefheart and the Magic Band at the Family Dog’s short-lived Denver location with art by Bob Schnepf. FD 50 (green head) and 61 (blue butterfly, with Sparrow) are in mint condition. FD 64 (blue cat) has pinholes at the top and bottom and is in excellent condition. FD 84 is mint on the front, with a small bit of tape residue on the back.
