A rare and wonderful concert poster silkscreened on silver foil advertising a July 1971 show featuring The Stooges, the GTO’s and the Cockettes at Hollywood Palladium.

Billed appropriately as Hollywood Babylon, this concert was to feature three of the most outrageous acts of the era: The Stooges (their singer Iggy Pop occupies the central image,) Frank Zappa proteges The GTO’s (Girls Together Outrageously) and San Francisco based psychedelic drag performance troupe the Cockettes.  Unfortunately, the concert was cancelled after The Stooges broke up at the end of May.

In superb unused, virtually mint condition.  A stunning poster!
